The directors' report shows a loss for the year of Birr 1,877,845 thousand for the Bank and Birr 1,878,011 thousand for the Group, against a Bank loss of Birr 382,866 thousand in 2016/17, on Bank interest income of Birr 4,682,203 thousand. Audit Services Corporation signed the independent auditor's report on 29 January 2020 (engagement partner Woizero Azeb Tekleselassie). Note that DBE's website publishes this annual report under the download-manager package titled 'Audit Report - 2018', which understates what the file contains.
