Total gross written premium was Birr 1,273,870 thousand (2020: Birr 892,923 thousand) and profit before tax Birr 290,386 thousand (2020: Birr 221,158 thousand). The report notes the Company was authorized to undertake Takaful business. The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the Board of Directors at its 235th Special Meeting on 29 September 2021.
